David A. Robertson, M.D., is a neurologist and neuroimmunologist with Norton Neuroscience Institute. He earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Kansas City, and completed his internship and residency at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Robertson’s approach to medicine is best described as “integrative neurology,” which includes comprehensive care, multidisciplinary resources and empowering the individual to improve patients’ quality of life. He strives to foster a strong relationship with his patients, their families and their team of health care and wellness providers. Dr. Robertson is expanding neurological care to adults with physical and intellectual disabilities as they transition out of child neurology care. As a general neurologist, Dr. Robertson provides care for pediatric and adult patients with neurologic conditions. In the field of neuroimmunology, he works with patients who have multiple sclerosis and other complex neurologic conditions. He joined the Norton Neuroscience Institute Hussung Family Multiple Sclerosis Center because clinical services and support resources are consistent with the integrative neurology approach to medicine.
