I am excited that we have the ability to share with our community information about our department, our goals, and the kind of service we strive to provide for everyone that lives in Christian County. Our intention is to provide you with an easy way to obtain answers to questions you may have about a variety of different topics including taxes, laws, and safety information just to name a few.Christian County Sheriff's Department patrols and services an area of approximately 725 square miles and over 79, 000 residents. Our county borders the Kentucky/Tennessee state line and five other counties in the Commonwealth. Along with providing the entire spectrum of law enforcement duties Christian County ; our Sheriff's Department is also responsible for many other important services to our county, such as: tax collections ; election duties ; vehicle inspections ; concealed weapon permits ; service of civil and criminal process ; and providing all security the Christian County Justice Center. We are made up of 45 sworn personnel and a large number of special deputies who volunteer their time to assist us in our service to Christian County. We continually strive to educate our employees with the most up to date training and equipment in law enforcement. I also strive to employ only those with a high moral character and a strong commitment to serve our community.I thank you for visiting our site and hope that you find informative in whatever questions you may have.
