At our Louisville, KY location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

It's been a long time since I had Captain D's. I use to come here all the time back in the day when I lived in apartments near here. Back b/c can't cook seafood at home due to offending my lady....

Food was hot and fresh. Place was clean and staff were laughing and having a good time. Service was prompt. I know most fast food planes get a bad rap but this is my favorite guilty pleasure.
