Cambrian Coal

TECO Coal Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of TECO Energy, mines and ships more than seven million tons of coal annually. Its primary customers include the United States and European steel industry as well as domestic utilities and industrial customers. It also supplies coal to its sister company, Tampa Electric. TECO Coal's principal products include world-class high-volatile metallurgical, ultra low ash and low sulfur coals used in the production of silicon metal, high quality steam coal for utilities, specialty stoker products for ferro-silicon and industrial uses and PCI coals for steel mills. From TECO Energy s privately-owned TECO Bulk Terminal at the Port of New Orleans, TECO Coal and other TECO Energy affiliates ship to Europe, South America, Asia and the Southern ports of the United States.
