Bullitt County Public Schools

Cedar Grove Elementary School is a coeducational institution that provides academic instruction to students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school has a library that provides access to online encyclopedias, dictionaries, maps, magazines, newspapers, databases, graphics and other reference materials. Its core curriculum includes various subjects, such as art, health and physical education, math, science, social studies and technology. In addition, the school has a cafeteria that serves a variety of food items to students and faculty members. Bullitt County Adult Education is a multipurpose community resource facility that provides a variety of study programs. The center offers an academic program that provides individualized instruction in the core subject areas of reading, writing and mathematics. It operates a transition center and develops individual study plans. Bullitt County Adult Education specializes in preparing students for taking and passing GED-high school equivalency tests. The center offers classes in astronomy, photography, computer technology and dog obedience training. Additionally, it provides the Youth JAG Program, which includes remedial education and job and college placement assistance services. Bullitt County Adult Education s TNS 98 program features parenting and adult education classes.
