Boone County Water Dist

Boone County Water District provides all services related to water to the residents of Boone County, Ky. It does not provide sanitary sewer services, and places a sanitary sewer bond repayment charge on the bill as a service to the Boone County Fiscal Court. It ensures an adequate supply of drinking water to all customers, and also takes precautionary measures to avert water crisis situations. Boone County Water District has established a public education program that includes various techniques, such as retrofit kits, customer leak detection kits, brochures on water conservation tips, videotapes, bills inserts on general conservation tips, using public events as educational tools, and instructing public about the four-levels of water emergency supply plan. The water district is headquartered in Burlington, Ky.
