Barton 1792 Distillery, established in 1879, is the oldest fully-operating distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, situated on 196 acres in the heart of bourbon country. With 29 barrel aging warehouses, an impressive still house, and the legendary Tom Moore Spring, the distillery is dedicated to producing the world's best whiskey.
As of June 30, 2022, Barton 1792 Distillery will no longer offer public tours, focusing instead on its core mission of whiskey production. Visitors can look forward to experiencing the distillery's rich history and exceptional spirits at one of their other homeplaces in the future.

Really had a great tour here. loved the tasting room and that staff was so awesome. Its a must when in the area

Went today 8/8 as we are here for a long weekend. Tasting room, gift shop and tours closed. Nothing on website. Why? Disappointed

Tours closed. Big sign outside says tour closed to public. An old guy sits in the window of the security shack. We consider getting out to enquire, as the website shows them open. He sternly...
