The Appalachian Horse Center, located in Cornettsville, KY, is dedicated to preserving the cultural, historical, and social significance of Eastern Kentucky's free-roaming horses. Situated on 80 scenic acres of the former Miniard Farm, the center serves as a community gathering place where locals and visitors can engage with the region's living history through guided tours and educational programs.

In partnership with the Appalachian Horse Project and other organizations, the center aims to uplift the community by providing equine-assisted learning therapy, youth camps, and workforce development programs. With a limited opening in November 2025 and a public opening planned for spring 2026, the Appalachian Horse Center represents a new era of opportunity for the region.
