Ankur Datta, M.D., is a neonatologist with Norton Children’s Neonatology, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Kentucky. He completed his residency in pediatrics at Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville and his fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Datta’s philosophy of care is to engage with the family and entire medical team to provide the best possible care for patients in the neonatal intensive care unit. Additionally, one of his passions is fetal medicine. He guides families through prenatal consultations, meeting them before delivery and providing information on ways to give their baby the best possible outcome.| When Dr. Datta is not caring for patients, he likes to travel with his family, enjoying rock climbing and visiting national parks.
