The Clark County Jail is a detention center with nearly 200 beds. The facility has an indoor and outdoor recreational area and modern security system. It is staffed with more than 35 correction officers, several dispatchers, cooks, maintenance personnel, a full-time nurse, chaplain, work supervisor, medical doctor and receptionist. Six of its correction officers also act as transport officers.
