C. Gregory Henes, M.D., is a board-eligible cardiologist who specializes in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He earned his medical degree from Yale School of Medicine in New Haven and completed his internal medicine residency at New York University Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in cardiology at Washington University, St. Louis. In addition to clinical cardiology, Dr. Henes has special interests in nuclear imaging, echocardiology, TEE and PET. Dr. Henes’ mission is to provide the highest quality, compassionate, patient-centered care in the area of cardiovascular medicine. Away from the office, Dr. Henes enjoys spending time with his family.

Matthew J. Sousa, M.D., is an interventional cardiologist with Norton Heart & Vascular Institute. He earned his medical degree from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Ohio. He completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital, Lexington. He then completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington. Dr. Sousa realizes that every patient has specific needs and creates a tailored care plan for each individual. A native of Massachusetts, Dr. Sousa now lives in Louisville with his wife and enjoys spending time outdoors in his free time.
