Computer Village is a community-based nonprofit corporation that imparts computer skills to underserved citizens between the ages of 4 and 104. Founded in 1995, the corporation conducts training sessions in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Visual Basic and Internet. It offers classes in software applications, computer build and repair, computer networking, web site design, database programming and graphics. The corporation serves more than 500 students at over 19 community locations. Computer Village operates outreach and adult education programs at community centers, public schools, health care centers and churches. It also provides online computer skills training classes for youths, adults and senior citizens.

Established in 1974, Wheat State Manor is a nursing and convalescent home that offers quality care to senior citizens. Located in Whitewater, Kan., it offers convenient access to family and friends living in the communities of El Dorado, Newton and Wichita in Kansas. It offers various services to senior citizens, such as nursing, pharmacy, physician services, nutrition, restorative therapies and social services. Its services include skilled nursing and rehabilitation, long-term care, hospice care, outpatient rehabilitation and independent senior living services. It offers its residents a 24-hour physician-directed care. Wheat State Manor has a spacious building and campus and also has several private community areas where residents gather with family members outside their rooms. Its rehabilitation facility offers various rooms including private and semi-private.
