Wamego Historical Museum

The Wamego Historical Museum, established by the Wamego Historical Society in 1973, is situated in the picturesque 20-acre city park of Wamego, Kansas. The museum, a replica of Wamego's first city hall, showcases the region's rich history, beginning with its origins in a 19th-century railroad stone workshed.

In addition to the museum, the site features the Prairie Town Village, which was initiated in the 1980s, and the iconic Dutch Mill, a Kansas landmark built in 1879 by immigrant John Schonoff.
