Welcome to Free Spirit Farm Who we are Free Spirit Farm is a small breeding facility located in eastern Kansas, about one hour south of Kansas City. We specialize in breeding and selling high quality sport horse prospects. Our mares consist of Hanoverian and Oldenburg lines which include Donnerhall, Werther, Grundstein, Pik Koenig, and Goldstein. All our youngsters are handled daily from birth and grow up in large, lush pastures. From the time they are weanlings, they begin to learn to stand tied, load in trailers, and stand for the farrier and for baths. We believe in breeding for improvement of the line, and not just reproducing horses, therefore the stallions we select for our mares are chosen for kind temperament, athletic ability, correct uphill conformation, elastic gaits, and rideability.
