The Walker Art Gallery in Garnett, Kansas is home to the renowned Mary Bridget McAuliffe Walker Art Collection, featuring an extraordinary array of early twentieth century American paintings, sculptures, prints, and drawings by notable artists such as John Steuart Curry, Robert Henri, and Arthur B. Davies. Established in 1951 by Maynard Walker in honor of his mother, this collection is considered one of the most exceptional art collections in the Midwest.

In addition to the Mary Bridget McAuliffe Walker Art Collection, the gallery also houses the Garnett Art Collection, which includes more than 140 pieces, including works by Joseph Albers, Karen Karnes, and Dale Chihuly. Visitors can also enjoy the Garnett City Art Collection, featuring rotating displays of artwork created by local artists or traveling exhibits. Located at the west entrance of the Garnett Public Library, the Walker Art Gallery offers daily viewing and docent tours by pre-arrangement.
