Terra Bona Hawaiian Shave Ice and Coffee Company

History

Terra Bona Hawai'ian Shave Ice and Coffee Company began as a small shave ice shop located inside another restaurant. Having outgrown this arrangement, Terra Bona moved to their present, larger location at 1222 Main. The owners, John and Mary Ellen Coumerilh, established Terra Bona so locals and travelers alike can enjoy a slower pace for an evening over board games, an ongoing jigsaw puzzle and good old-fashioned conversation.

Specialties

Terra Bona serves great espresso drinks, both hot and iced, as well as artisan hot cocoa, chai and steamers as well as fresh house-baked desserts - and, of course traditional Hawaiian Shave Ice. The best specialty, though, is the Terra Bona Experience which consists of a great place to hang out with family and friends over board games and jigsaw puzzles.
