History

Whitney and Nicole form the dynamic duo behind Sunflour Cafe & Collective. Both of them had dreams of opening an allergy friendly cafe with space to gather, children to play, eat health conscious food, and small businesses and creatives to share their talents and unique products with the community. Over the course of 2 years of managing The COOP & Coffee House in Derby, Whitney heard many customers that would make the drive to Derby from West Wichita, ask if another location could be opened in West Wichita. Nicole utilized The COOP & Coffee House as her home-base for CM Goodies until she could find an ideal home for her bakery. She also created ICT Veg Fests and Vendor Blendor Pop-Up Markets where she connected with many local creators and small businesses that were also seeking an avenue to start offering their products in a retail setting. Nicole caught wind of the perfect building and got Whitney on board to team up to make this idea become a reality.

We offer sandwiches, breakfast burritos, waffles, pizza, and more! Our drink menu features lattes, boba tea, smoothies, teas, kombucha on tap, and more.
