She chose medicine after realizing her love of helping children was stronger than the music career she studied and pursued at the time. To her, the most rewarding thing about being a doctor is helping a patient get through a difficult time with understanding and patience. Dr. Womack is a native Wichitan who enjoys music and scrapbooking. Many people don't know that Dr. Womack plays the violin and piano and played with the Wichita Symphony for six years. He chose a career in medicine because he says he is a big kid at heart and enjoys working with children. To him, the most rewarding thing about being a doctor is watching patients grow and develop into young adults. Dr. Nichols is a native Kansan who enjoys anything farming, animals, yard work and outdoor activities. One of his bucket list items is to walk around Disney World in the Mickey Mouse costume. Outside of work, Dr. Nichols volunteers with 4-H as a leader and activist, his church and the local food bank.
