Located in Overland Park, Kan., Saint Thomas Aquinas High School is a Catholic coeducational high school that serves more than 1,200 students in grades nine through 12 and offers a variety of educational and extracurricular activities. Its academic curriculum includes English, foreign languages, mathematics, performing arts, science, social studies, theology, visual arts, and technology and business education. The high school offers a variety of athletic activities, such as soccer, basketball, tennis, cross country, golf, ice hockey, track, volleyball, wrestling, swimming, cheerleading, baseball, football, lacrosse and softball. Additionally, it provides various extracurricular activities and student clubs, including art, chess, Irish, French, Japanese, Spanish, reading, German and science clubs, the National Honor Society, the Future Business Leaders of America and a student council.

Holy Cross Catholic School

Founded in 1968, Holy Cross Catholic School is a part of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas. It enrolls more than 300 students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school also maintains an early education center that serves over 70 children up to the age of 5. Its campus features a library, kitchen, gym, playground and classrooms. Holy Cross Catholic School s grade eighth curriculum includes language arts, math, social studies, science and Spanish. Its kindergarten s syllabus consists of phonics, reading and writing. The school also publishes a student-written newsletter, The Hornet, which covers topics, such as school sports, field trips, holidays and school-wide activities.
