Southwest Medical Center, also known as SWMC, is a nonprofit acute care facility. It is approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is located in Liberal, Kan. The center offers emergency care, family counseling, radiology, nursing and family-centered birthing services. It also provides a range of medical equipment, such as wheelchairs, walkers, hospital beds, blood pressure monitors, medication compressors, neubilizers and ostomy supplies. The center s radiology services include magnetic resonance imaging, bone densitometry, nuclear medicine and mammography. Additionally, the center specializes in orthopedic, gynecological, vascular and thoracic surgeries.
