Lake Scott State Park is beautiful, a real oasis. NO HOT WATER in the shower houses. Turkey vultures are roosting in trees nearby. I love the park but will take a shower in my camper van tomorrow....

Love this place! Needed a place to pitch a tent for the night and found this gem! Super quiet with lots of wildlife. I did see a beach but didn't swim when I was there. Lots of hiking trails...

First time here. Camped in Circle Drive in our Popup. Friendly staff, clean grounds and lots of trees. Lake isn't deep - could stand pretty far out. Small beach area but you can get in water...

The lake there stands out for its bluffs and canyons when you seem to be surrounded by nothing-ness in Western Kansas. It's straight north of Garden City and the lake/park is just north of them....
