It began with my B.A. in Cinema Production from the University of Southern California when I discovered a penchant for composition and lighting, though I had gone there to learn screenwriting. I went on to earn a M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Sarah Lawrence College. Over the next years I traveled extensively and took photographs wherever I went. At the same time I was having published and performed pieces of my writing. Recently, I realized I could combine the two in the form of thought-provoking posters. I like poster art because of its accessibility; it's not expensive nor precious; it can be moved around, rolled up, hung in a lot of places without stress and if it gets messed up, it's cheap and easy to buy another one. It's art for everyone. So I have chosen my most interesting photographs of the thousands I have taken and then considered what text would most work with them. Voila, great posters and a little cottage company.
