Camilo H Palacio, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician and pediatric trauma specialist by the American Board of Pediatrics. He joined Ascension Medical Group Via Christi in 1997. His special procedures include circumcision, laceration repair, mole removal, toenail removal, freezing of warts, tie off skin tags on newborns and ear cleaning. To him, the most rewarding thing about being a doctor is seeing his patients grow and thrive and eventually seeing their children. His best advice to parents is to not put limits on what children can achieve. He is inspired by Ronald Reagan and the Pope. Though he is originally from Barranquilla, Columbia he speaks German. When Dr. Camilo isn't in the office, he's tending to his fish aquariums.
