Mike Ahearn Field House
Ahearn Field House, located on the Kansas State University campus in Manhattan, Kansas, has a crowd capacity of 11,700 and was constructed in 1951. Initially serving as a venue for basketball and indoor track events, it has since hosted a variety of activities including volleyball, concerts, and indoor commencements.
Named in honor of Michael F. Ahearn, a former professor and director of athletics at K-State, the facility underwent renovations in 1988 to better accommodate its evolving uses after the basketball games moved to Bramlage Coliseum. The Field House continues to be an important venue for numerous sports and events at the university.
