Before our Association changed its name to ( KACE ), during our Annual Meeting in September 2000, our Association was the Kansas Professional Nursing Home Administrators Association ( KPNHAA ). KPNHAA's roots began with an organizational meeting in April 1972. It held its first Annual Meeting in September of 1973.
