Lucas D Thompson, MD

Dr. Lucas Thompson is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine with a subcertification in sports medicine. He completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He earned his degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He grew up in Olathe, Kansas, playing football, basketball and throwing discus and shot put on the track team for the Olathe North Eagles. He went on to play football at Baker University, where he continued his love of sports and decided to pursue a sports medicine career.
