Lenexa Parks & Recreation

Lenexa Parks & Recreation Department, operated by city of Lenexa in Kansas, organizes a variety of recreational programs. Its Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park has a swimming pool, lake, gazebo and bandstand, picnic areas, shelters, jogging and walking trails, soccer fields and playgrounds. Additionally, the park has volleyball, basketball and tennis courts, a baseball field, gardens and guestroom facilities. The department has Legler Barn Museum that offers a variety of historical displays. It organizes various recreational activities and special events, including family fun nights, pet fair, parades, fireworks, bike ride and festivals.
