KU School of Medicine

Operational for more than 15 years, Clinical Research Institute is a research facility that specializes in conducting randomized trials to develop drugs for the treatment of psychiatric, neurological, sexual and other medical disorders. The institute has conducted over 175 clinical trials and has collaborated with nearly 50 national and international corporate project sponsors. It offers normal and mildly symptomatic volunteer, drug-drug interaction and pharmacokinetic studies. Clinical Research Institute operates research units that can accommodate up to 30 participants. It also has an outpatient clinic with physical examination, temperature-monitored drug storage and laboratory processing rooms. The institute additionally provides statistical analysis, data management, telemetry and pharmaceutical services. Clinical Research Institute is affiliated with the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita.
