Kansas Truck is a family business employing 24 people who are committed to excellent customer service. Our slogan, "Service After the Sale" is how we strive to conduct business day-in, day-out. Over 40 years ago, Kansas Truck Equipment Company, which began as a truck equipment company, became the sole distributor for Blue Bird Body Company. We value the relationships we have developed with a large number of public school systems over the years. They have become our friends as well as customers. Due to the special transportation needs of some of our school bus customers, our product line was expanded to carry wheelchair lifts. That led us to understand that many individuals with disabilities needed a competent and fair company to provide them with personal mobility options such as vans, personal lifts and driving aids. We are very proud of the years of service we have provided this market and the accolades we receive from numerous customers who appreciate the depth of knowledge our staff has in this area. The commercial bus line was a natural extension of the school bus line. We take great pride in representing ElDorado National, a nationally acclaimed Kansas manufacturer of mid-sized commercial buses. "Service After the Sale" means we staff an eight-bay shop for installations and repairs. And carry a large inventory of parts which we ship daily all over the state in an effort to keep our customers up and running. We are a small business.
