Mostly shaded and away from the road...mostly. Places to picnic, fish, fly kites, skip stones... People are polite and the path is not creepy feeling. Lots of places to park and join the trail....

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this trail. It is beautiful and usually very quiet and well maintained. Can't wait to see how beautiful it is going to be in the fall.
