At Prairie Sunset Home, we offer skilled nursing, assisted living and independent living cottages. We offer ALL Private Rooms! We have a newly built assisted living addition and all our common areas were remodeled in January, 2014. We are a locally owned, not for profit organization. Halstead Health & Rehabilitation Center offers a variety of services to patients and their families. Located in Halstead, Kan., it offers rehabilitation and restorative services on-site under the direction of personal physicians and the center s physical, occupational and speech therapists and nursing staff. Its services include hospice care, podiatry services, intravenous therapy and rehabilitation services. It uses modern equipment, such as lifts, devices and tools in its rehabilitation therapies. Halstead Health & Rehabilitation is a certified Medicare and Medicaid provider. The institution offers 56 private rooms and two semiprivate rooms for couples, all with private bathrooms. There are private phone lines available in every room and satellite television connections. There are community showers and a whirlpool bath available to residents.
