Johnson County Court Services works to carry out the orders of the court by working with clients and families to make the community a safer and better place to live. It provides supervision and investigations for the criminal courts with mediation and evaluations for the civil courts. It maintains an adult presentence investigation unit that responsible for the preparation of misdemeanor and felony presentence investigation reports as ordered by the Johnson County District Court and in accordance with the Kansas Sentencing Guidelines. Located in Olathe, Kan., Johnson County Court Services maintains teams related to domestic violence, fraud and forgery, intensive supervision, drug and sex offenders.
