Col. Horace Chesnutt ( at right, in a photo from 1996 ) began the family business back in 1938 after graduating from high school. He was solo in the business until 1963 when Col. Jerry Chesnutt joined him after graduating from Missouri Auction School. Col. Cody Chesnutt followed his father's and grandfather's footsteps and joined the team after graduating from Missouri Auction School in 1994. From estate sales to exotic animal sales, there's not an auction the Chesnutts haven't worked. Today, Jerry and Cody carry on the family tradition.In Southeast Kansas, Southwest Missouri, Northeast Oklahoma, and the remainder of the four state area, we've completed over 15, 000 auctions since we began in 1938.
