History
GTS started in 2006 as GTI Transportation, providing town-car and taxi service to Lawrence, Kansas, and the surrounding areas. In 2013, the company was acquired, and became Ground Transportation Services (GTS). In addition to the previous town-car and taxi services offered, GTS started a shuttle service between Lawrence and the KCI Airport, a favorite among KU students, staff, and Lawrence residents.

When you call for a taxi, what you are expecting at a minimum is reliability. Trust and communication play into this expectation as well which GTS was lacking during my first experience with them....
