Glitters had humble beginnings. Diane, known fondly as "Mom, " began working in the jewelry business at a young age. Even then, she excelled in creativity and serving her customers. She opened Glitters from her kitchen in 1980. With her strong entrepreneurial spirit, she quickly outgrew the kitchen and moved to a local Jewelry Galleria. In 1986 the next step was her first retail jewelry store. As our family of customers grew, Glitters moved into our current Camelot Court location to "glitter" here forevermore! Our business has flourished through these years not only due to the high quality and creativity of our fine jewelry, but also our strong values, integrity, and sincere caring for our customers. Even though we've lost Diane, her two daughters Beth and Debbie, along with their long-time "adopted family, " Patti, Sharon, Shirlee, Amber, Sherry, and our magical jeweler, Robyn, all the Glitters Girls continue these high standards. Our customers share their experiences with Glitters with the families and friends, who then become our families and friends. They stop in just to visit and enjoy being part of the "family." Jewelry shopping should be fun! Women know what other women love and the Glitters Girls are romantic experts. We have helped grooms-to-be turn their proposals into magical moments---from billboards to a theater stage. We have tucked precious gifts in balloons, ice-cream cartons, bouquets of flowers, and champagne bottles---just a few examples of our "brilliant ideas" that helped create treasured memories.
