Incorporated in 1956, Blue Valley Tele-Communications is a member-owned cooperative that offers telecommunication services. The cooperative has a network of telephone exchanges that provides local telephone, cable, Internet, long-distance calling, computer repair and networking services. It serves more than 4,500 access lines spread over an area of over 1,000 square miles. Blue Valley Tele-Communications also offers video programming services under the BVtv brand. The cooperative operates an online store that sells answering devices, corded telephones and caller identification units. It provides community support services for nonprofit organizations and foundations, as well as donates money to assisted living facilities. Blue Valley Tele-Communications has a work force of nearly 30 employees.

Located in Wamego, Kan., the firm specializes in installing networks for telephones, mobiles, Internet, Wi-Fi and digital televisions. It supplies a gamut of service plans, pricing plans, channels and packages as well as listing on local directories and yellow pages. The communication firm offers mobile services with different options, such as individual plans, family share plans, add-on services and usage facility. WTC caters to residential and commercial markets.
