Geoffrey C Slayden, MD

G Brent Sorensen, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon with Saint Luke's Surgical Specialists. He became interested in bariatrics during his surgical residency and completed a fellowship in advanced laparoscopy and bariatrics. Dr Sorensen performs gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy. He also performs other minimally invasive and endoscopic procedures. Since joining Saint Luke's, he has introduced techniques to improve bariatric patient care and outcomes.

Megan McNally, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained surgeon with Saint Luke's Surgical Specialists. She treats gastrointestinal cancers, colorectal carcinoma, gastric cancer, hepatobiliary cancers, appendiceal carcinoma and other peritoneal malignancies with intraperitoneal chemotherapy, sarcomas, and skin cancers including melanoma. She also practices general surgery and emphasizes minimally invasive approaches. She is trained in and utilizes da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery.

Michael Arroyo, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon with Saint Luke's Surgical Specialists. Dr Arroyo started a surgical weight loss program at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa before coming back to the Kansas City area in 2013. His laparoscopic weight loss procedures include gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy. He also performs general surgery utilizing minimally invasive techniques including gallbladder, hernia, colon, anti-reflux surgery, and da Vinci robotic surgery.
