Fire Escape Coffee House

Opened in 1998, FireEscape Coffeehouse is a nonprofit organization that provides dining services for youths to socialize and hangout with friends. Its facility is spread across an area of more than 19,000 square feet and features a concert room, an apartment and radio station. The organization conducts various special events. Additionally, FireEscape Coffeehouse organizes shows of several Christian bands, such as 77 Jeffries, Bar Judah and Cofield for entertainment and evangelization. The organization provides counseling services that focus on decision-making and life lessons. FireEscape Coffeehouse is located in Chanute, Kan.
