Founded in 1927, Manhattan Christian College is a four-year undergraduate institution for higher education. Located in Manhattan, Kan., the college provides educational opportunities and evangelistic, cultural, and recreational activities. It operates as a not-for-profit corporation under the Internal Revenue Code. The college offers single degree programs in arts, science, pastoral ministry, cross-cultural ministry, educational ministry, worship ministry, family ministry, youth ministry and Bible. Kaw Area Technical School offers various academic courses, such as building and industrial, design, electronic, graphics, mechanical, metal and human resource technology. It also provides continuing education courses in Microsoft Excel, basic keyboard and typing, basic and advanced photography, home health aide and personal enrichment. The school offers financial assistance program that provides various loans and scholarships for the students. It additionally provides counseling services, such as career, academic and personal development of the students. Its business and industry training department provides training in the areas of human resources and computers. Kaw Area Technical School is accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education. It is located in Topeka, Kan.
