I agree with the first review. It's unkempt outside like old timers house, just too old to keep the whole place up. Worn down from years of oil boom and now bust. Bed is even old and stained....

The Empire Motel was purchased this summer and has/is undergoing a remodel. The hot water system and the heating system are all new and have gone green. The rooms are being updated everyday. The property has passed state inspections and is fully licensed. The owners or family members are always on property to assist visitors. We also offer a full limo service.

You never know what you will find on these back highways. The Empire Motel is definately interesting and economical. It is old school and shabby chic. Not as clean as I would like it but...
