A collection of 45 military aircraft, aircraft engines, exhibits and and aviation memorabilia spanning World War I to the the present day. View a re-created German P.O.W. barracks. The Combat Air Museum has served as an educational institution and tourism destination for forty four years. It is one of a handful of major aviation museums in the United States located on an active air field. Visitors to our Museum are regularly treated to flying activities of Air Force fighter aircraft and Army helicopter operations. With the longest runway in the State of Kansas, large refueling tanker aircraft of the Kansas Air National Guard and army troop transports often fill the skies around the Museum. Many interesting hours can be spent at this museum tailor-made for aviation enthusiasts.

Coffey County Historical Museum

The Coffey County Historical Museum in Burlington, KS, is dedicated to preserving the rich heritage of Coffey County for future generations. Established in 1965, the museum has grown to feature over 14,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space, including a vast antique doll collection and restored historic buildings. Visitors can explore a restored 1896 One Room Country Schoolhouse, a 1895 Country Church available for events, and a Conestoga Wagon, among other artifacts.
