About JO The JO has been providing public transportation services to much of Johnson County, downtown Kansas City, Missouri, and Kansas City, Kansas since 1980. The JO operates 5 days a week with most routes running during peak morning and afternoon times. The JO has over 100 drivers who drive approximately 100 coaches and cutaway vans. The JO vehicles travel approximately 8, 300 miles every day. Through The JO Special Edition, curb-to-curb service for disabled, elderly and low income residents of Johnson County is provided. Nolte Transit Center in Olathe in May 2001. This new facility houses the administrative, maintenance and operations offices.
