Sedgwick County COMCARE, a part of the Human Services division, is a community mental health center that helps people with mental health and substance abuse. The organization provides mental health emergency services on a 24-hour basis, seven days a week. It offers face-to-face crisis intervention services, including those facilitated by a mobile crisis unit. The organization s Transition Team works with specific situations where clients are in need of short-term crisis intervention and follow-up.
