History

Brown Bear Printing opened in 2006 as Sonofagun Press, a screen printing company providing t-shirts to local bands in the Kansas City area. The small basement shop quickly grew, providing screen printed apparel to businesses, churches, charity events, schools as well as bands. Sonofagun Press moved to their current shop in March 2008 and in November 2010 became Brown Bear Printing. Why Brown Bear? The company is named after Bear, the owners chocolate lab who passed away from cancer in 2011.
