Arkansas City Fire-EMS Department

Arkansas City Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency medical services to Arkansas City, Kan., and the surrounding rural areas. It protects and safeguards the lives and property of the community through firefighting and emergency medical services. Its staff includes full-time firefighters, and provides its services 24-hours a day The department also provides other services, such as technical rescue, water rescue, hazardous materials response and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and advanced cardiac life support training. It helps to install smoke detectors free of charge and conducts health and safety fairs for citizens. Arkansas City Fire Department also has an ambulance that is staffed with firefighter paramedics in case of a fire.
