The L.M. Alcott Arts Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Kansas City, KS, is dedicated to nurturing artistic talent and fostering a sense of community through diverse cultural engagement in the arts. With a mission centered around teaching, learning, exhibiting, and performing, the center actively serves area children and adults by providing art classes, gallery space, and theater productions.
Founded over two decades ago, Alcott Arts Center aims to restore the historic Alcott grade school building while continuing to enhance artistic opportunities for the community. As an all-volunteer organization, it invites individuals to get involved through teaching, program partnerships, or donations, all with the goal of promoting a positive artistic environment for everyone.
