Ad Astra Books & Coffee House is more than just a comfortable and interesting place to meet, hang out, study, drink coffee and buy books. We aim to be a leading cultural center for regional arts and literature, and a thriving community gathering place. Thanks to Downtown Pop Culture, we also offer comics, vinyl, cds, and gifts. Whether it be a place for live music, author readings, poetry nights, book signings, film showings, children's theater, etc., our programming and outreach has come to define our greater mission: to keep the torch of the imagination lit and to use it to reveal this place called Kansas and these still unexplored Great Plains.

Good brewed coffee options with a free refill. Nice atmosphere and kind service. Would definitely go again as it is a nice place to read and have good conversation with company.
