History

Blade Mages didn't set out to create a video production company, but he wasn't going to let a decisive opportunity pass him by. At 19, he was attending Kansas State University, working at the Manhattan Regional Airport and in the midst of a heated internal debate about his future when he received an odd phone call from his old high school video teacher. A man on the East Coast was looking for a production company to do short-form commercials for local, rural businesses. Blade agreed to meet with the man, invested in dream video equipment and set off to make a demo reel of short videos. Since that fateful day in 2008, he's slowly grown 502 in a full-fledged marketing agency, bringing on experts in design and web coding, content strategy, and client care. Usually hovering around a team of 10, give or take an intern or two, 502 is a rockstar agency who thrives on a culture of tenacity and perseverance. We personally invest in our clients and regularly give back to the MHK community.
