In 1963, Larry Triplett, Founder, opened his first location, a Standard Station on Interstate 70 and North Ninth Street in Salina, Kansas. That location is still open today. Through acquisitions and trades, Triplett, Inc. owned Standard/Amoco stations in Junction City, Manhattan, Paxico and Topeka. Those locations were sold in the 1970\'s and early 80\'s to transition from the traditional service station business to large travel plazas designed to meet the needs of the traveling public on major interstates.

This gas station has the cheapest gas I found from Colby Kansas to Colorado. The bathrooms were also clean, I recommend filling up here before heading to Colorado, the gas is much cheaper.

You have to go in and prepay. I tried two times credit and debit cards at the pump and it said go inside both times. I can't walk very well and it sorta ruined my day. I disliked my experience...
