Walnut Creek Campus Alternative High School

Founded in 1995, Walnut Creek Campus is an alternative high school that offers a range of academic programs and extracurricular activities. It serves more than 200 students in grades 9 through 12. The school provides classes in art, business education, and family and consumer science. Walnut Creek Campus also offers lessons in math, science, social studies and language arts. The school works to promote the personal, social and academic growth of students. It maintains a cafeteria that provides food items and beverages. In addition, the school operates a parent-teacher organization and employs over 25 staff members. Walnut Creek Campus is a member of the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement. The school is governed by West Des Moines Community Schools.
